These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton website, application experience, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About the Program

Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton is an initiative of Access Bank's W Initiative to empower women-owned businesses across Africa through training, mentorship, and grants.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • Participants must meet the program eligibility criteria stated on the site.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and kept up-to-date.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization.
  • Do not upload harmful content, malware, or infringing materials.
  • Do not interfere with the security or availability of the Services.

4. Submissions and Content

By submitting application responses, videos, or materials ("Submissions"), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process Submissions solely to administer and evaluate the program. You retain ownership of your Submissions. You agree that your pitch, submission, idea, or materials may be similar to ideas, products, services, or initiatives that Access Bank is already developing or may develop in the future. Participation in the Program does not give you any ownership or exclusive rights over such ideas. You agree that Access Bank shall not be liable for any claim arising from any similarity between your Submission and any existing or future products, services, or initiatives of Access Bank.

5. Intellectual Property

All site content, trademarks, and branding are owned by or licensed to Access Bank and/or the W Initiative and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.

6. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors, nor that outcomes (including awards) are guaranteed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data arising from your use of the Services.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Access Bank, the W Initiative, and their affiliates from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

9. Program Changes and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Services, program timelines, or criteria at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the website or email where feasible.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflicts of law principles.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Services after updates signifies acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms shall survive the conclusion, discontinuation and suspension of this initiative.
